I wish to purchase a wallpaper paste that does NOTcontain a fungicide. All the pastes in the High Street DIY stores seem to contain a fungicide. Does anyone know of a readily available paste with no fungicide?

Just out of interest, why do you want a paste without fungicide?
I wish to obtain a fungicide-free wallpaper paste to use as a medium for sewing small seeds such as carrots. There is a technique whereby you sew the seeds into the mixed paste, stir it well to distribute the seeds and then 'pipe' the seed via (say) an icing bag into the seed furrow. This greatly reduces the need for thinning of the seedlings at a later date and increases the yield per pack because you are not wasting seed. However the great benefit is in the time saved not having to thin the seedlings.
