Hmm....intresting one...

Firstly, the easy way......have you considered painting the window reveals and trimming the paper to the edge instead?

Otherwise these three ways I think you can attempt it...

But first you need to bear in mind that however you do it the laws of geometry will stop the pattern from matching...

Now.....you can either paper the inside reveals first....cut the paper so its about a 1/4 of an inch wider than the reveals.....paper tight to the frame of the window itself ..trim through the overlap where the paper meets itself..leaving the 1/4 inch overlap on the outside..then make a cut every inch in the overlap all around the window and stick the 'tabs' onto the wall...then....coat the tabs all around the edge with overlap adhesive..next.. paper across the wall and the tabs..and run a sharp trimming knife around the external edge of the reveal....this way you use the natural darkness of the window wall to hide the bumps in the tabs.

Or.....paper the wall...carefully trimming around the window and leaving a margin of /4 inch.....make the same snips all around and stick the tabs to the reveal itself..coat with overlap adhesive.....then paper the reveal..again trimming through the overlap where the paper meets....you may be lucky and manage to run the edge of the paper tight to the corner of the reveal.....or if its badly out...trim it..and trim around the window..bear in mind this way may highlight the tab bumps under paper because of the direct light source from the window

Or....if you really good with a knife...or the paper is thick....cut and stick a piece of paper in the reveal....and trim it tight to the edge..then paper the face wall...and run the blade around the edge of the reveal..

less fiddly.....and a neater job..(and your only option if its a thick vinyl) but..more difficult..and risky. you need to be at least jack the ripper standard with a blade for this one!

Yes thanks Zampa it is out quite badly and the paper is thin but the pattern as you said looks a mess.
We are going to paint it with white gloss and see if it looks ok.
Why don't they plaster walls square.
Again thanks.
Torchy.
