I'm wallpapering some of the bedroom and the walls I plan to finish on will be on nibs. I'm no pro and was wondering if there is anything that can be done or I should look out for when finishing on an outer edge??

The wallpaper will finish on the outer edge and then the other side will be painted.

I did see mention of using a special trim, a bit like those used for tiles in bathrooms where you wallpaper up to the edge then paint the trim but not really sure on that.

All tips gratefully received!

Thanks

Overlap the paper on the external corner by a few cm then with a straight edge lined up with the wall edge behind the paper, use a sharp Stanley knife to cut the few cm overlapped paper from top to bottom.

Scissors won’t cut a neat enough line.
