Wallpapering over fresh plaster - How long to allow beforehand? Does Gardz speed things up?

Like the title says - we're soon having a room membraned and lined with Siniat XP then skim plastered. Builder says he'd leave it 6 months before papering.
Online research (yes, I know, groan...) suggests maybe just wait until the dark patches have gone (a week or so) and then leave it another 2 weeks, then apply Gardz, leave it another week or two and then we can paper it (Anaglypta, since you ask).
Is this right or should we just wait it out? The wife's itching on getting decorating!
Cheers

Emulsion walls with contract emulsion or other that is breathable made for the job. That will allow walls to dry naturally through the emulsion.
Follow the advise.
What's the rush? Why risk problems and more cost to rectify.
Why go against professional advice and good practice.
Re Gardz
It will seal walls trapping any moisture and slow down the drying or could even cause a problem.
There are no shortcuts.

Fair enough. I though papering over emulsion was an issue though?

This is what I was wanting to find out; thanks. Now I have to tell the missus she can't have the nice dado paper below and tastefull upper half yet but will have to look at bare walls for up to 6 months. That'll be fun...

I haven't a clue, the builder says one thing, some professional websites say another.

Makes sense ta.

I used to colour match emulsion we with wallpaper. Emulsion walls. Then paper.
It was a way to hide the joins.
If walls were white and you hung a dark gray paper as an example, the joins could show.
