Simple quick question , title says most of it all really.
I've built my daughter a play house and have also redecorated our bedroom. The bedroom had one papered wall and my daughter has asked or is that pestered for wallpaper in her playhouse. The playhouse is lined in hardboard and I have a couple of rolls of a crown heavyweight paper. I also have a packet of solvite but have wondered if this would be adequate. I've considered abrading the surface and applying the paper with pva or a mixture of paste and pva.
Any ideas or comments gratefully accepted.

If the surface has a sheen you could lightly sand to dull it down a little, then apply a thinned paste solution (size) then you should be fine to continue, I don't really see the need for pva.

Thanks Dec. I'd only thought of using the pva because I wasn't sure if the solvite would be up to the task.
Would you suggest mixing the paste up as you would for a "regular " plastered wall or should it be thicker or thinner i.e. more water in it ?

Well if she is anything like my angel used to be very many years ago it would be a lot of pleasing.
