I am planning to apply Wallrock Fibreliner in kitchen wall as we gets hairline cracks even after the re-skimming. The reason being underline plaster is old and we cannot afford to replace it.

I did a mist coat 6 months ago on newly skimmed kitchen walls. Should I apply PVA or Gardz Zinsser prior to applying Wallrock Power Adhesive?

Also any recommend paint to be used on top of Fibreliner in the kitchen?

Thanks for all help.

Avoid PVA and go for Gardz. That said, if you have new bare plaster, you can just size the wall with diluted wallpaper paste to seal it, or whatever method it recommends on the back of the Power Adhesive tub.
