put work clothes on with me eyes closed, only for the wife to say "you know it's saturday don't you?"

hoorah! back to bed.

what a great feeling. a bit like finding a twenty pound note.

an even warmer fuzzy feeling would surely have been to stay in bed altogether, which is something i wish i could have done this morning.

This reminded me of an advert playing at work at the moment. this is how it goes:

Missus: "Ohh theres a massive spider in the bath"
Bloke: "Crikey, he's a big fella isn't he? Anyway, i'm late for . . . work! Bye!"

Missus: "Work??? But its sunday!!"

YEAH AND? YOUR POINT? Most of the people who have to listen to this dribble WORK ON SUNDAYS. Quite frankly, I find it offensive.

you should have been gutted you would have been on time and a half
