It depends on the make and model of machine. On many machines the easiest way is to remove the heater element, often bringing the wire out with it. On some machines the heater goes into the front of the drum so the cabinet front has to come off. Sometimes you can get access by removing the big sump hose on the bottom of the drum.
Jo the Big magnet shouldn't work most bra wire are well lodged when they depart there garment and work their way in to the recess between the inner and outer drums, but here's one to cheer you up!!!!!!
