Washer banging on spin

Hi,

I have a magic chef washer and it bangs really loud on the spin cycle. It does not have any concrete weights in it, just springs that hold the drum to the base.

I have checked with others and they say it needs to be levelled I have checked and re-checked level it is levell.

I am thinking the the springs need to be repalced, but they appear to be fine

you have only made a statement -that it is level. you have not asked a question

it also depends what you are washing if it is one or two big items it can go "out of balance" you havent said what you are washing, i have even seen a rug put into a washer and she wondered why the m/c didn't work.

I have never heard of a m/c that has no counter weight, as you say yours never had one and you are sure of this? then yes change the springs
