Washer makes funny whine noise in 1 direction

weve been doing our kitchen last few months and washer has been moved about a couple of times in/out of kitchen... its been working fine during this but since weve finished and installed it where its got too go its making a straining/scraping noise when the tumbler rotates clockwise...sounds like its straining like the motor is struggling (whine) when going one way..its OK when it goes the other way ... its not very loud but u can hear it, it seems to get louder the heavier the load and when it goes a bit faster for pre-spin you can really hear it

i wondered if anyone might be able to tell me wot it might be?
