How do u wash airfryers? i don't use the liners particularly on meat as i tried it and the heat didnt circulate and cook the meat properly. But dont want the fat e.g off pigs in blankets washing down the sink and blocking the pipes. I used a kitchen roll and put in bin and tried to pour what water in garden. Normal baking trays easy as you can scrape with plastic scraper then kitchen rollin bin then wash with sponge and pour in garden. These airfryers have trickier components

Any ideas?

Put in a bucket or sink with hot water and dishwasher tablet.
Leave for a few hours.
Move water about every 30 mins

We use the liners now but don't cook big joints of meat so washing is largely a thing of the past, I've seen videos of people putting boiling water in them with some washing up liquid and then putting it back into the air fryer to cook for a bit on a high heat. It's the trays that are the PITA. We are officially air fryer ******s in this household, hardly ever use the normal oven anymore. :p
