I have a zanussi aquacycle 1050 washing machine and I am unable to unscrew the filter. Any advice would be welcome.[/list]

Dont force the filter out though.
Occasionally items can get trapped in the filter that prevent it turning. best way to sort that out is to remove the sump hose from the pump/filter housing and check for wires, keys, bamboo etc then unscrew.
Very occasionally rocking the filter back and forward while unscrewing can help.
