Washing machine leak

Hi all.
Newly moved home, our washing machine only needs cold/blue pipe, connected up and working a treat.
Problem lies with unused hot/red Pipe connector which is in the off position (little red turning knob/tap) but is dripping water... Slowly, so not a huge flood but needs fixed.
Is there a stop end to be got?
Or is this a plumbers job??
