washing machine not emptying

i installed a condensat 10mm flexi hose in the same standpipe as a washing machine, and now the client complains that the washing machine does not empty entirely...


any ideas?

Make sure the filter is clear on the washing machine, can't see how putting the condensate pipe into the standpipe could make a difference.

That sounds like one of those it was all right before you turned up.

Check the filter on the washing machine.

Check the hose hasn't been push down the pipe so the end is in the water, could siphon back.

Check the drain isn't block.

In this order.

Check the entire length of the washing machine drain from the drum to the pump then from the pump onwards, sometimes find metal wires from bras find there way in there and clog it up.
