i have an elecrolux 1400i washer/dryer, my problem is that it washes the clothes but it doesn`t seem to spin them properly as they come out soaking wet, do you all think this could be brushes, seemed to spin fine on a quick wash, and i noticed a wire, ground colour yellow and green had come adrift from what i think is the load sensor, the wire had been chaffed by the belt driving the drum, this has been insulated re-fitted and cable tied out of the way, thought problem was solved but is still happening, help me please........

From the symptoms you describe it could still be the brushes.
Have you physically checked them? or possibly the programmer not switching the motor to fast spin?
I assume the drum is emptying completely before the spin cycle starts?
if not, then look for a restriction in the outlet pipework.

Is the drain pump operating properly

It could be blocked or have a restricted in or out flow so cant get rid of the water fast enough prior and during the spin
