Hi,, I have a bosch WFO2466GB/07 that won't start. At first it would start if I banged it or jogged it, once the light was lit it would wash ok and restart as long as I didn't switch selector to off - then it wouldn't light again. Now it won't come on at all. I have taken the top off and checked the live feed to the selector switch. Am I right that I need a new switch, or do I need to replace the whole module/ front panel? Thanks, AlanT

Is that just banging the front fascia or banging and jogging the whole machine?

There are many things this could be from your description so more detail is needed.

A more common fault based on your description would be a loose or dirty/corroded connection. With the machine unplugged disconnect the front fascia board connections and re-connect (one at a time and pay particular attention to its location, though they can usually only connect back in one place/orientation).

If none of the good advise above works then it sounds to me like the door interlock switch could be at fault. The switch in the lock needs to be made and the door latched to the locked position, before power can be distributed to any other function.

Thabnks, Yardie and Lavo-1, I've checked, removed and replaced all connections behind front panel, still not working. Assume I have to remove first bottom plastic panel then front panel to access door interlock. It was jogging whole machine and hitting fascia as well. Could problem be selector switch as when programme selected no led light comes on? Also should both grey wires to selector switch (that plug into the back of it) be live, or just one?
