washing machine taking ages on cylce

My mother in law has recently moved house and has taken her Servis washing machine with her. It always took about 1 hour to complete a cycle. Since moving, the cycle now takes about 2 hours to complete. It does not appear to be sticking - just taking ages. Why do think this may happen - does anybody know about this?
