Had to get bearings replaced on my washing machine. Repairman had failed to tighten up the big hose inside that attaches to the drum and the first we realised was the kitchen floor flooded. Hubby managed to re-attach the hose and I did one complete wash. Today it is blowing the RCD as soon as it goes to the fast spin cycle. Will drain and fill OK. Can't get hold of repair man (Friday night). Can I assume that the water spraying around the inside has caused it to short circuit? If so will it dry out and how long would it take? Have left the top cover off just in case it is damp. Does anyone have any other suggestions. Any suggestions/advice would be welcome. Thanks.
