Washing machine tripping RCD

Hi is the above an easy fix or could it be terminal its a Siemens machine and trips during cycle as clothes are wet. Changed brushes a few years ago but that's it.

Just tried the empty cycle and that's works as does the spin cycle so does that point towards the element being the problem?.

Also tried a quick wash drum filled and rotated a few times with the water in then tripped out. So does it start the wash with cold water then heat it up?.

Have now tried a cold wash and it didn't trip out so looking like the element


Any ideas would be great.

The heater element is a strong possibility, disconnect & insulate the wires & then try again.
