Washing machine?

Is the plumbing for a dishwasher suitable for use of a washing machine? The house we are about to move in has plumbing for a dishwasher and not a washing machine in the kitchen. Since we don't have a dishwasher can I connect my washing machine here instead?

No problem except dishwasher don't have a hot so you may have to find a supply, unless you have a cold fill washing machine

All washing machines WILL work fine without a hot supply, they just heat their own water. It may have H and C inlet hoses though , so you use a "Y" fitting on the cold supply to connect to both hoses.

Thank you. My machine uses only cold hose. So will be fine. Thanks for your reassurance.
