hi all want to plumb in a dishwasher but under sink there is only pipework for washing machine and valve to turn water of for washing machine am i better of putting a t in somewhere with a service valve for the dishwasher or is there a fitting i can get which connects to the washing machine valve and both connected to same pipe if that makes sense

Or if you have some plumbing skills and are happy doing cutting into the pipe and doing a couple of compression joints, this is a very neat solution:
