Washing painted render

Hi

We have yellow render on the outside of our townhouse. Where the external gutter has overflowed (now clear!), the water has caused the finsih to become blacker and duller. Is a fungicidal wash likely be able to bring the colour back or is it a lost cause?

You could try a fungicidal wash to see if that will remove the discolouring of the render, but i doubt it. Even if that doesn't work, at least you will have a clean prepared surface, onto which you could re-paint with a suitably coloured "Weathershield" paint.
Having the faulty guttering repaired was the important thing though.
