Waste Disposal Units - Any Good???

As part of the deal with the new kitchen units we have purchased we gaet a boiling water tap & a waste disposal unit thrown in.

Initial we thought we'd pass the waste disposer on through EBAY, but I'm thinking I may fit it as our bin is always full of leftovers.

The question is, are waste disposals any good?

They do their job, not hugely popular and can cause blocked waste pipes, I'd say get yourself a compost bin...
