We are planning to re-fit our utility room.

Part of the plan is to have a large ceramic Belfast sink in there for use of cleaning oven trays, painty stuff, degreasing motorcycle engines ;) - don't tell the wife  We plan to have a sprung spray head type heavy duty mixer tap also.

As the dishwasher would be located in there too maybe fit a waste disposal in that sink. They don't all seem to accept waste disposal units, and the other thing is potentially with paint / grease etc going down the plughole will this affect the working of the disposal unit?

Thinking of ISE 65

Any suggestions or advice welcome :D

Thanks

Hi there,

As far as I am aware, the waste disposal is normally fitted separately (ie on the 1/2 sink on a 1+1/2 sink bowl) to the normal waste and should only be use for food waste.

Don't think I have ever seen one used as the main sink waste before.
