Waste pipe and joists??

We got a quote from a local plumber to remove our old toilet and install a new corner toilet. This means moving the waste pipe from the wall above the floor. He said that we can get a vertical pipe connection for the toilet and then drill a 125mm hole through the last floor joist and the wall to connect to the external soil pipe... This sounds a little ropey to me? Can anyone confirm if this is acceptable or if I should be getting another plumber in?

One of the walls the toilet will be going against is an internal wall so we cannot run the pipe directly out the back...

We would need more info on wc pan, but I should think a 45 degree, then straight out near the corner would do the job

It depends on distance from pan spigot to the corner.
