Hi,

I am building a new bathroom on the ground floor and will have a 110 mm soil pipe buried under the screed for the toilet waste. I want to connect the shower and basin waste (40mm plastic) into this soil pipe. Which fittings should I use given that its all being buried under screed?
Also I assume that the solvent weld waste is recommended in this situation rather than compression?

Thanks in advance

You'll need to get clever with a solvent weld boss connector and hammer and chisel.

Chap down to pipe, clear enough of a space around the pipe to take the boss with it's strap mostly cut off, clean plastic, cut hole, glue boss on, let dry, insert a suitable length of pipe into the boss. Mortar it all in. Let it all set before attaching anything. Job's a guddun (y)
