I have two W/Cs, one each side of the vertical waste stack. It would be good to have then join the stack at the same level but I understood that building regs require a 200mm separation so was expecting to drop one lower.

However, I see that Flopast do a double branch (SP230) so is there a building regs compliant way of connecting the two at the same point?

Dimensions are for non swept connections. As the Floplast you mentioned has swept connections it is allowed, even though the connections are opposite each other.

Thanks for that Denso.

I have a similar issue with the 40mm waste but am I right that something like the Floplast short boss (SP583) isn't swept so isn't okay for opposing connections?

That's correct, side connection would be okay if you have the room.
