I have two pipe booms both full of copper, probably had two bundles 15 1 22 and a few 28. Whole lot has been taken except one 15, strangely they put the covers back on.

Due to copper prices the thieves are switched on, I'll not be keeping mine on the roof any more.

Same here and they have been into my garden and had a good look round as well as stealling a few bits of scrap. I now have a HWC with a booby trapped can of petrol in it.
If I get a cooked TGB I will post a picture.

300Watt 240V inverter ought to do the trick, one lead on the copper, the other on a handhold. You could rectify it to DC then the bugga wouldn't be able to let go.

You don't realise what a genius you two are as a pair, the petrol will provide "flame rectification", and you have a burnt toerag stuck to a cylinder.

If only our judges dished out the same punishments there would be no scum bags left in this dying country of ours.

Hands up anyone who's never stolen anything, cheated or defrauded anyone (including Inland Revenue) in their life. How would you like to kill me?

I stole a Turkish Delight from the corner shop in Oakhanger Hampshire about 1968, a few pens and pencils, some company time, gone home early, but didn't get paid for staying late, slept two hours on night shifts when meant to stay awake and have one hour.

I suppose it's come around,

but don't forget 6 months ago I had Hilti dd130 stolen, a year before that had makita jigg saw, semco screw gun, makita belt sander stolen.. need I go on.

Sometimes feel like packing up.

You need an alarm and anti theft system like mine, its a german shepherd, never even had a parking ticket.

i live near liverpool, no one touches my copper tube. u lot shouldnt live in such rough areas.

There are leaches who contribute nothing to society, the GNP, indeed not to any individual, but play "the system" to the full, not content with that while they are idly living off us all to while away the time go emptying our pipe booms and vans, thus doubling the load on us, in every town.

The more people on the fiddle that can be reported the better, because these people are the ones who live on this earth entirely for themselves to our cost. When they aren't robbing you through your local and national taxes, they are thieving directly.

A good start would be to make everyone work for benefit that is able (dissability excepted).
