Hi,
5 years ago I had new pressurised central heating system. I have been noticing over the last few months excessive discharge from the pipe outside.
When I look at the boiler etc. when the system is running there seems to be a permanent dribble downstream from 2 PRV's.
I know it could be one of those that could be faulty. So I tried the trick of manually operating them to try and clear anything and it made no difference.
In the past I also had issues with pressure loss, not so much now, so tonight I looked at the 2 expansion vessels. One blue one red.
When I push in the valve on top of them, the red one fizzies with pressure, but the blue one is totally silent?
So I can't decide whether or not the vessel is faulty or maybe the valve on top. Or whether or not it is still a PRV fault.
Can anyone help?
Thanks
