when i switch the heating on the hot water is getting very hot as well,boiler is a glowworm hideaway,with a danfoss timer and a 3 port valve actuator vale for hot water / heating.,turned the thermostat down,on the hot water tank.

It could be a probably with the cylinder thermostat, if it's an in-direct system.
