Hi all

I have a heatrae Sadia unvented water cylinder

The pressure valve at the top seems to be leaking.

Any ideas what to do?
Can I simply clean the valve?
Should I buy a new cartridge?
Or do I have to buy a whole new preset cartridge with the pipe?

Any help is much appreciated

Thanks
Jordan

Also I replace this cartridge and preset section around 5 years ago.

Could I just change the cartridge? Or clean the filter?

1. Its part of the safety system for an unvented cylinder so only someone with a G3 qualification and current accreditation can work on it. It is not a DIY job.
2. In my experience those filters (black, upward pointing lump) disintegrate when you try to undo them after a few years use.
3. I would change the whole valve.
4. Those cylinders are meant to be serviced annually.

Thanks for the knowledge there

Yes I am getting a plumber down but wanted to get another opinion.

Also I am looking to buy the part over the weekend

Would you know what would be recommended?
