I have an elevated rear garden.Steps leading down to house have water draining from the join on the second step up.This has only appeared recently following a harsh winter.
I have cleaned and rodded all the drains around the sides of the house but there doesn't seem to be any piping which leads to the base of these steps which would suggest a soakaway.
The steps are only a metre from the side of the house and they are built up the side of a retaining wall.
The garden is approx. 2.0 metres higher than the base of the lowest step.

Should I be able to find a drain/pipe access somewhere as It seems that I have a blocked outlet from the soakaway?
House was built in the late 1970's.

Any help appreciated.
Cheers
