We live in a new build house built last feb. Over the year we've noticed a leak in the garage.
Now the builders have come to fix it, they've changed the plaster board that had burst but the wood still looks heavily water stained, as does part of the plasterboard.
The wood and plasterboard both feel dry to the touch.

They've said its dry and nothing to worry about but should I be concerned that its damaged and will rot?
Should I be pushing them to change the wood and remaining part of the plasterboard?
IF the property was sold in the future would this be noticed on a survey and possibly flagged up as an issue?
Advice please
Thanks
