Water Leak in pipe underfloor

Hi Guys,

Have a wall getting damp behind a radiator, there are no visible leaks in the radiator or pipes. So I opened the floor and dug into the screed around the pipe. See photo.

The screed is wet, but I do not see the leak.

Any trick I can use to find the exact location of the leak?

Check your home insurance to see if you have 'emergency call out cover', it doesn't affect your insurance but can get you someone out the same day.

Is your boiler a combi, is it loosing pressure?

Or open vented with an expansion tank in the loft?

It is open vented with the tank

Turn off the water supply to the f and e tank and see if the tank empties.

Or tie up the float valve.

The other side is also a kitchen. And the other side is not wet (the wall is 1 brick thick)

Ok, doesn't necessarily rule anything out

Not really. Dye perhaps if it's heating pipes. Some have said to use cheap aftershave before now, but again only on heating pipes
