Water main meter/stop cock valve

Hi all,
Any ideas how this works, is there a stop valve below water meter ? What tool ?

Can't see anything but was looking for a small square head to turn off the water @ the side of the meter You could call your water supplier.

I think that might be one of the ones where the meter is the stop tap.

I've never seen one myself but my boss sent me this picture asking what it was.

Yes It's weird, I've already called my water supplier but they will come next week ..
There is something like a disc under meter with two rounded and two rectangular slots same as on picture from Ian H, maybe this is the thing (the valve)..???

Unfortunately I have no idea. I've been doing water for a while but not seen one myself.

The black cap on the pic I posted just looks like a normal screw in blank for the meter so I can't think how you could turn it off with that.
