Hi All, got a bit of an issue at present where a builder has knocked down a 70 year old wall which had underneath the lead water supply pipes for my house and the neighbours. My neighbours mains was damage and needed repair which was completed by the builder. The builder has erected in place of the wall with concrete posts a new fence. Now, the leak has reappeared in between the two posts and needs repairing. Had Welsh water out to fix this issue but they have said the whole fence needs to comedown to fix the damaged pipe???? The access to the pipe is easy to get through as no concrete has been placed at that point and only sand has been placed on top of the pipe. They have also said I need to redirect the fence because it can’t be over the water pipe, but the broken pipe has not been cemented over? I have attached a photo of this area and its placement is under the concrete kick board.
