water pressure dropped

it's just a electric running off cold

what difference would it make if it was comming from the cold tank in the loft the water pressure was fine before so whu wouldn't it be now, i could understand if i was runnig hot and cold at same time or had heating on

sorry if i'm being a bit thick

The electric shower will be running off mains pressure, which may well be from a tee from the supply pipe to the tank. It will not be supplied from the cold water tank itself. If they have disabled the tank as they should have done, then this wouldn't make the slightest bit of difference to the shower.
 
Electric showers are normally run off mains cold, not tank cold.

As a tank rarely can supply enough pressure to make the shower usable...unless the tank is really high...!
 
I think the first thing to do is tomorrow, when the wife and baby are not in the bedroom, get up there and see what's what.
