Hi all,

I have been experiencing some water pressure issues that seem to be getting worse. We live in a 1930s semi, three-bedroom, and water pressure has generally been good. However, over the past few months, I have noticed that whenever there is water running downstairs (e.g., washing machine filling, toilet flushed, tap running), at the same time water upstairs is flowing (shower/sink), the water upstairs goes cold and then pretty much stops. We have a combi bolier and all seems to be working well.

Before I call out the plumber is there anything that could be causing this that is a DIY fix? Air lock possibly of some sort??

Any advice appreciated

I've recently been experiencing occasional 'low pressure' warnings and heater cut off with my shower. Only in the last couple of months.
I do wonder if the water companies have been instructed by the authorities to reduce pressure generally, to save water, given that the UK's water supplies are currently low.
