Water pressure low upstairs

Then it may be that it is blocked or has failed.
There's a gauze filter inside.
That can be checked (sometimes easy sometimes not).
Also Air charge on EV should be checked... Shut off cold feed to uv, open hot taps and use a tyre gauge to check EV pressure. Regen as necessary.

The EV appears to be sealed with no tyre valve - see photo.

The inlet valve has been installed immediately adjacent to the door frame so I don't think there's sufficient clearance between the grey valve head and the door frame to remove it! Also, I don't see how practicable it would be to try to remove the whole valve as it's connected to what seems to be an immovable pipe i.e. if the compression joint was undone it doesn't look like I could lift the pipe to remove the valve.

I think I'm going to wait until the flow is completely useless and get a plumber.

Thanks for your help.

Regards

Put your hand on the top.
There'll be a big plastic cap not a little tyre valve cap.

These sometimes pull off rather than unscrew. The schrader valve will be there below this cap.

Tap the EV with your fingernails at the top... Does it ring or sound dull?

Thanks to all for your advice but I've decided not to pursue the problem at the moment as we've just had a hosepipe ban (the first in Dorset for 50 years!) and our water pressure is currently reduced so I can't investigate properly. BTW The EV is at ceiling height in the airing cupboard and very difficult to access so I shan't be checking that!

Thanks again

Regards
