Hi

I may choose to replace my broken power shower with a thermostic shower control.

Is there any simple way in which I can check that the water pressure will be sufficent ro run this satisfactorily?

Cheers,

a good metre or so (in height) and probably 3 metres or so in distance

1 metre in height will only give you approx 0.1 bar.
won't be any good it'll need a pump on it.

Actually, I just turned on the power shower - ie - got the water flowing through it but without power/pump switched on - and the flow is acceptable.

Is this the 0.1bar of pressure you refer to?

thats a power shower not a thermostatic mixer valve.
thermostatic mixer will have more restriction than your power shower.

you can try it if your happy with the flow.
but most people like a nice powerful shower.
