Water pump leak.

It looks a lot better.
When the pump needs changing you will have the same problem with the extensions. ie, if they wont come off you will need two new ones.

It would have been better to cut a couple of slots across the threads to remove them, leaving a standard 130mm pump space.
Probably right, didn't think about cutting them off. I can just replace the 22mm filler with a longer one though.

That is true but it means a drain down again. (Or Bung IT).

Hmm. I have to drain down tomorrow to reconnect some radiators (the thing that started this whole sorry mess) so maybe I'll do it then. Or maybe I'll cop out and hope the pump doesn't break for some time to come :)
