im having my boiler fixed rather than replaced so theres a bit of spare cash and im thinking of getting a softener.
im looking for some help in buying one.
4 bedroom house 3 adults 1 child,1 bath 2 showers (not power or electric)both straight from the boiler,which is a powermax 155x.
how much should i spend and on what models?
does the boiler affect any softeners?
could you lads give me if possible your top 3 in price ranges if possible.
there are so many out there,i cant honestly make even a list of what i want to research,im a bit of a sado when buying anything,i have to read up the pros and cons, but with these where the hell do i start.
thanks in advance gaz.........

You could start by reading up the other current topic.

But my advice, if you are short of money, would be to put it in a Powermax Savings account at the National Boiler Bank.
