My water softener (Culligan Water Genie) is 10 years old, beeping and coming up with "err 1" The instructions say to switch off the supply and reset after switching back on. The display then shows 00:00 flashing and the buttons have no effect. The "err 1" and beeping returns after a few minutes. Any assistance please?
