Hi. I have a new water softener, all fitted and ready to go. I've read the set-up instructions but I just need an experienced opinion on a small but probably important point.
The unit is a series 255 valve/460i. I have the time set and I have the hardness set to 26.
The last bit is the setting for capacitty. Can someone educate me as to how the 1-99 setting is derived at please? I think its rellative to the salt dial setting but I need to know what number the salt dial should be set to.
So far, I haven't touched the salt dial setting and our hardness figure is US. 22.176 and UK. 27.72.
Hope someone can make some sense of all this! Steve
