Just installed a water tank in attic.. the old tank had its day.. when the tank is just about full it start to make a really loud shaking noise.. probaly the ball valve and the water... how can i correct this problem

Did you fit the metal stability plate for the ballvalve ?, could be high pressure, also check that the cold feed pipe to the ballvalve is clipped and
secure.
