My mains water tap under the sink had a handle I used to screw on to turn off but I lost it. I ordered this but it’s too small

Screwfix do a replacement brass stopcock for under a fiver, and will take returns without question if it doesnt fit.

Thanks. Can I take the tap bit off and fit to my existing one as that’s the only but I need. I’m guessing it’s 22mm
