water won't get hot

Hi guys, I need some help.

I have a 4-5 years old boiler (Worcester 24 cdi RSF)

When I turn the tap on the water gets a little warm.... then goes cold. I turned the heat setting up to max, same thing happens, although the water does get hotter with this setting, not nearly as hot as it should do.

If I turn the CH side off, the water does get hotter, ( but not as hot as it used to)

The light for the HW demand does NOT light up.
Any ideas ?.

Just been told it could be the diaphram in the dirverter vale.
Does this sound about right ?

diverter valve usually,espically after 3 years or a lot of hot water.

diaphgram can be changed but better to change complete diverter valve due to the fact that you need to remove complete valve to change diaphgram and one does not want to take these valves out to often.
get worcester fixed price repair.
