My shower pump stopped working suddenly. It's a Watermill SS45DLV low voltage pump that has been faultless since I installed it 11 years ago.

After a sharp tap on the casing with a soft hammer it started up again, so I suspect it needs new brushes. Is it possible to obtain and fit new brushes to this pump? I know Watermill are owned by Grundfos now, can't find reference on their site.

Historically there aren't a great deal of brush designs out there that can't be filed/shaven/cut to suit your motor. Have you spoken to the manufacturers by telephone?

If there are no stockists try the local washing machine/hoover spares man.
