hi
i have a summer house with a hot tub at the bottom of my garden, i would like to add a waterproof light switch that could be reached when sitting in the hottub, is this allowed ?
any help would be appreciated.
thanks

Yes, if it's suitable for the environment it's installed in then I can't see any problem with that. Your best bet would be a Masterseal IP65 switch, there are cheaper alternatives about, but many simply use a piece of flexible plastic over a standard switch. Over time the plastic seal splits and breaks down, and that's not really what you want when you've got one hand on the switch and the rest of your body in a pool of water!
