Toilet in the bathroom keeps getting condensation on the cistern and drops onto batroom floor. Is there any reason for this and anything that can be done to stop it. Thanks

plumb it into the hot water instead of the cold !

an extractor might help.....its humidity in the coming into contact with a cold surface.

air brick might help

if u turn of ya water ,flush the toilet then drain out all the water before u go to bed. in the morning give the cistern inside as many coats of Thompson water seal as u can. you can flush the toilet with a bucket while its out of action. old type cisterns that are glazed on the inside dont condense as much as non-glazed. some imported German toilets now come with a plastic insert to prevent this happening. Its allways worse in winter because the incoming water is colder. if u can reduce the humidity in the room this will also help. The water in bath, basin & w/c traps is always slowly evaporating adding to the problem. keep the bathroom door open.

This is dreadful, the same question has been asked almost every week since Chrismas, and yet when I use the search tool, I can't find any of them. The search tool does not do it's job.

However if only people could be bothered, they could look here.
